Which is to say: she had my back, and she understood that it was an overwhelming experience sometimes. She helped me separate legitimate concerns from minor, superficial fixes. Courtney helped me to stay in budget. This is difficult to do, especially in SF. She helped me negotiate, steering me away from asking for too much or offering too little, while making sure that I got something I was truly happy with. Courtney was there for every last question I had. On the rare occasion that there was something she did not know, she would find out right away and let me know. She checked in with me regularly to make sure we were in touch. She walked me through the mounds and mounds of papers that I had to read, and helped me to keep everything straight. Having worked with Courtney, I find that I have gained more than a piece of (rather fabulous) real estate. I have also gained knowledge of an important process that I knew nothing about before. And, importantly, I have found an expert professional whom I trust and will turn to again in the future.

I was out of the country, and going through a divorce, and the renovation project that was supposed to take 3 months was taking nearly 2 years. Courtney jumped in and went the extra 100 miles. She brought several contractors in to finish the renovation and project managed the whole situation. She adeptly negotiated with the defunct construction team, new contractors, county inspectors, neighbors, home-owners association, and my ex-wife for months to get the property to a sellable condition. Then her real magic kicked in. Courtney's use of tools, understanding of the market, and ability to create FOMO for sellers blew me away.
